Our client, a world class leader in precision machining and die casting services supplier, is searching for a CNC Swiss Screw Machine Manager & Applications Engineer to join their Minneapolis location! Responsibilities for the opportunity include CNC programming, supervising a staff of employees on 3 shifts, estimating cycle times, production improvement and scheduling maintenance. Working knowledge of all inspection equipment is required, including familiarity with SPC, and PPAP elements FMEA and Control Plans, as well as ISO 9001: 2001 requirements. Candidates with a BS in Manufacturing Engineering or BS in Mechanical Engineering, CAD / CAM training, and a minimum of 5 years actual hands on experience with CNC Swiss Screw Machines are strongly desired. In addition to familiarity with or actual experience on Citizen, Hanwha and Nomura Swiss machines with live tooling and sub spindles.
