Our client, a
stable yet growing manufacturer located in SW Illinois is currently
searching for a Product Support Manager. Key areas of leadership
include customer service, warranty and after sale parts. The preferred
candidate will have worked with a technical product line with experience
in mobile equipment preferred.
Responsibilities
include:
Develop and
executes service network strategy including customer support
technicians, distributor support network, and other outside resources.
Coordinate
product support call center and supervises staff to assure that
incoming customer support calls are managed in a timely and effective
manner.
Coordinate field
visits to evaluate product issues and communicate needed changes to
the organization. Communicate and coordinate with suppliers of
auxiliary equipment. Integrate their customer support network into
after sales support program.
Manage
corrective action process to assure that issues affecting customers
are getting the appropriate priority and resolution. Work with
Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Marketing, and Engineering
department personnel to determine root cause and proper corrective
action of an issue.
Assist
Engineering in the development of instructions to assure consistent
and quality installation of products in the field.
Administer the
warranty and policy process within. Identify key field problems and
assures proper correction action is taken to mitigate this expense.
Manage the parts
sales and sales personnel for products in the field.
Develop training
and customer support documentation necessary for products.
