Our client has built a strong reputation providing dependable service and a broad range of coverages to meet their clients' unique personal insurance needs. They are a national provider of property and casualty insurance. Due to our client's growth they presently seek a Product Analyst. In this role you will manage and implement Personal Lines Property product and underwriting programs as they relate to the PL Property national/countrywide strategy. Manage both system and non system underwriting related projects. Contribute to the development of Personal Lines Property product and underwriting philosophy and processes, based on a solid understanding of underwriting and the impact of such decisions on field constituents such agents, business centers, call centers, marketing and insured's. Manage Personal Lines Property underwriting performance efforts which include monitoring and quality reviews on a countrywide basis for PL Property products (Homeowners and Dwelling Fire) and serves as a resource for field underwriting and Product Management in training on and application of underwriting philosophies and techniques. To be considered, you must offer around 5-8 years experience in Personal Lines insurance. A 4-year college degree and CPCU designation. Solid understanding of product coverage's and pricing options. Solid understanding of PL underwriting guidelines, risk management measures, trends, risk reduction tools and applications. Ability to write clear and concise reports indicating recommendations and ability to work effectively with others. Understanding of Project Managements techniques. Exhibit understanding of Personal Lines systems, PL underwriting editing systems, use of systems with underwriting guidelines, and ability to develop high level underwriting specifications for underwriting editing/underwriting business rules engine. Knowledge of compliance issues and regulatory environment in order to establish procedures, documentation and implementation processes.
