Our client has been a stable force in the insurance industry for many years and has experienced explosive growth in their Variable Annuity division. They are seeking a qualified individual to direct a sales territory in CA (or Carolinas). Responsibilities include building and maintaining professional relationships with targeted registered representatives for assigned Broker Dealers in order to meet premium goals. The Director would also enhance sales opportunities and volume with the key Broker Dealers and producers in the assigned territory. You will identify potential new business relationships with additional Broker Dealers to determine their needs and present our client's portfolio of products. Another objective will be to develop and implement successful training programs and sales ideas for new products, services, and programs offered by our client. Competitive analysis of other annuity products and programs key as well. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of five years sales and marketing experience in the variable annuity market. NASD Series 6 certification required. Insurance license preferred and additional designations such as CLU and ChFC desirable. Must be willing to travel 75% of the time.
