Our client has had a long history of successful insurance operations since they commenced business over 150 years ago. Their assets have consistently ranked them among the world's largest life insurance companies. They have an A++ (Superior) rating from A.M. Best for financial strength and operating performance, and currently offer an opportunity to join their underwriting team in their Washington, D.C area location. They seek a Senior Life Underwriting Consultant. To be considered, you will need to offer around ten (10) years applicable individual life underwriting experience. Your background should include exposure to the brokerage distribution system. You will need proven ability to develop relationships with brokers, offering excellent verbal and written communication skills. They strongly prefer a present underwriting authority limit of $3 million on preferred and standard and $1.5 million substandard to table 6.
