Our client is a premier commercial E&S and specialty lines insurance group that prides itself in servicing hard to place risks.  Our client is currently looking for a strong leader and underwriter to fill a need for a Allied Health Underwriter.  In this role you will be underwriting referrals for Allied Health Facilities that include home healthcare agencies, supplemental staffing, hospices, medical testing laboratories and rehabilitation facilities.  In addition to underwriting individual policies, you will also be responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with MGA wholesale agents.  You must also have the ability to create and implement plans to positively impact profitability as well as coordinate activities between the underwriting, marketing, regulatory and claims departments.  A college degree is required as well as a minimum of five years experience as a casualty underwriter.  Designations such as CPCU or RPLU and experience with Medical Professional Liability is preferred but not required.  Please contact Scott Thompson for immediate confidential consideration and additional details.
