Our client is a subsidiary of a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. They provide third party administration service to large and small life, health, and annuity insurance companies. They are currently looking for a Director of Variable Operations to join their Business Process Solutions Team, and for this role they will consider someone working from a satellite location anywhere in the United States.

As Director of Variable Operations your position will be involved in a wide variety of responsibilities.

  • You will be the subject matter expert for the Variable products business unit. This will include managing the integration and/or development and delivery of services directly to the customer, or in support of a major enterprise-wide program.
  • Ensure that customer needs are satisfied through providing specific services.
  • Overall program/project plan, budget, structure, schedule and staffing requirements.
  • The major emphasis is on management and coordination tasks. Manage efforts of our client operations in regards to the Variable unit.
  • You will be instrumental in the overall planning and selling of services.
  • Oversight for those that work with the customer to ensure open communication regarding project milestones, timing and accomplishments.

Director of Variable Operations Job Qualifications

  • Around 8-10 years of progressive applicable technical experience.
  • Background in a Policyowner service role, policy processing role, sales & service support role, customer service role all applicable.
  • A minimum of five years previous managerial experience is required.
  • Undergraduate degree required. MBA preferred.
  • Applicable insurance industry designations and coursework highly desirable.
