Insurance Job Description

Our client is an established, reputable firm consistently recognized for its growth and innovation in risk management.  They are a privately held firm, ranked as a Top 100 Independent Broker by Insurance Journal, and is affiliated with many prestigious industry organizations.  Their Atlanta office is committed to growth and the perpetuation of their regional business particularly in the fields of transportation, construction, manufacturing, and professional lines.  They seek a senior level service professional to oversee their largest, most sensitive risks as an account executive.

Commercial Account Executive Responsibilities

  • Provide a broad range of client services including, but not limited to, conducting site visits, designing insurance and risk management programs, construction of underwriting submissions, arrange for and participate in safety services, respond to client inquiries, and attend to all other issues related to client service as required

  • Conduct and lead claim reviews with the client, producer, and insurance company on a regular basis

  • Spearhead marketing efforts to prepare, plan, and deliver proposals to clients with the producer

  • Provide oversight, direction, and training to a service staff and be accountable for retention and customer service standards

Commercial Account Executive Qualifications

  • Minimum 7-10 years of insurance experience in a brokerage environment with an emphasis on management of large accounts

  • Knowledge of alternative risk financing programs like SIRs and captives needed

  • Multi-line P&C experience with particular emphasis on professional liability, executive liability, general liability, and workers compensation

  • College degree with industry designations like ARM, AU or CPCU preferred

  • Prior supervisory experience over a service or marketing team
