Insurance Job Description

Our client has been in the underwriting business for over 25 years.  Backed by one of the largest E&S specialty writers in country, they offer competitive underwriting programs to niche industries with a focus on large property risks.  They seek a senior underwriter with strong leadership capabilities to join their Northern California office. 

As Senior Underwriter, Manager

  • You'll be responsible for achieving production goals, reinforcing favorable broker relationships and delivering outstanding customer service

  • You'll seek out profitable agency relationships and implement specialized marketing initiatives

  • You'll navigate the E&S marketplace to negotiate the most comprehensive commercial packages 

Senior Underwriter, Manager Qualifications

  • Five (5) or more years experience underwriting commercial property accounts

  • Strong E&S underwriting background

  • Candidates with underwriting management experience will be strongly considered
