Insurance Job Description

Our client is Top 10 brokerage firm that provides insurance solutions, risk management programs, and value added services to their clients.  They are a team oriented agency that encourages a strong working relationship between the sales and service staff.  They have two positions for customer service professionals of varying experience levels to join their team.  The account manager role is for an experienced service professional, well versed in commercial alternative risk programs, to assist with first dollar placement and reinsurance marketing in their captive division.  The assistant account representative is responsible for addressing an insured's administrative needs including billing, certificates, and audit analysis.

Account Manager & Assistant Qualifications

  • The account manager position requires 3+ years of experience handling large commercial accounts assigned to captive programs

  • Individuals with detailed knowledge of RFPs, marketing, negotiating pricing, and adherence to Best Practices will be highly desired for the account manager role

  • The assistant rep position requires 1-2 years of insurance customer service experience preferably overseeing policy reviews, MVRs, certificate issuance, and endorsement billing

  • Both positions require a broad understanding of commercial lines coverage like property, general liability, and workers compensation

  • Must be able to work independently and coordinate timely service procedures within a team environment

  • Industry endorsement and familiarity with Sagitta preferred but not required
