Insurance Job Description

Our client is one of the largest independent agencies in Colorado.  They've built a successful, family owned company around flourishing regional industries to whom they provide both commercial and employee benefits solutions.  Their staff members are recognized industry leaders in designing unique risk management programs for the building industry.  They seek experienced, customer service oriented individuals to join their agency in an account manager role.

As Account Manager

  • You'll assist the sales executive in marketing and servicing a large book of business

  • Responsibilities include creating submissions, analyzing loss information and generating premium rates and audits

  • You'll be the primary client service contact and assist with endorsement requests, insurance proposals, enrollments, and other policy related issues in a timely manner

Account Manager Qualifications

  • Commercial technicians must have experience working with middle market accounts dealing with commercial auto, general liability, property and professional liability

  • Employee benefits professionals must understand group and life medical, dental and disability products along with profit sharing and retirement plans

  • 3+ years of prior insurance industry experience needed

  • Must have a P&C insurance license and currently hold, or be working towards, a professional designation
