Our client is an established, reputable firm consistently recognized for its growth and innovation in risk management throughout the Southeast.  They are privately held, ranked as a Top 100 Independent Brokers by Insurance Journal, and is affiliated with many prestigious industry organizations.  Their transportation and construction divisions are flourishing and they seek qualified loss control consultants to join their organization.

Safety & Loss Control Consultant Requirements

  • Acting as a partner with clients of significant size and exposure, you'll observe the work culture and identify hazards to the safety of their property and employees

  • You'll create, implement and monitor safety programs that will comply with state regulations and reduce general liability, property and work comp claims

  • The program may include creating safety awareness materials and leading employee safety seminars

Safety & Loss Control Consultation Qualifications

  • 4 or more years experience in an occupational safety role

  • Bachelor's degree and industry certifications; familiarity with DOT, FMCSA and OSHA requirements necessary

  • Must have prior exposure working as a safety or loss control consultant to the construction or transportation industries

  • Consultative approach to risk management with strong desire to work closely with clients and members of the agency

  • Frequent travel involved
