Insurance Job Description

Our client is a reputable wholesale broker working in the specialty insurance market.  They aggressively build profitable carrier relationships and back their service with awards and certifications uncommon in the wholesale industry. Their company wide policies ensure consistency, up to date technology, and defined objectives for continually evaluating service.  They seek successful brokers looking for a dynamic firm that are committed to service and national business development.  For brokers with an established practice our client will consider office opportunities in new locations. 

Broker Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience building a profitable surplus lines book with risks like construction, financial services, hospitality and marine and other traditional E&S products

  • Ability to bring significant retail agency contacts while actively soliciting new relationships through product development, cold calling and association involvement

  • Contribute to the growth of the company by generating revenue, leading a team and expanding geographic territories

  • In-depth knowledge of multi-line, E&S coverage required

  • Travel is required
