Insurance Job Description

With more than one billion in premiums, our client continues to grow and has positioned itself as the true leader in its class. They currently offer an opportunity to join their organization as a Regional Sales Manager. Responsible for developing and executing a sales plan to build sustainable revenue in group sales channel. This position is responsible for developing key relationships that will optimize product placement, distribution and revenue.

Regional Sales Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage and execute on a sales plan which supports the annual corporate sales goals, including reporting monthly revenue forecasts, and the active management of a pipeline.

  • Initiate, develop and maintain prospect/client relationships (Human Resources & Benefit Administrators) and agent/broker/consultant relationships through direct prospecting activities.

  • Manage the full sales cycle including: researching and identifying opportunities, securing appointments, conducting presentations and developing proposals.

Regional Sales Manager Qualifications:

  • Ideally applicable insurance industry experience preferred, professional designations (CEBS) preferred, proven sales track record required across any industry.

  • Experience in the employee benefits field serving the major employer markets is a plus.

  • Resident and non-resident Property and Casualty Insurance Agent license will be required.

  • Excellent presentation skills, ability to speak in front of large groups of people in addition to board room presentation ability
